Afridi "disappointed" with comments by Ijaz Butt

The former coach of the national team of the cricket captain Shahid Afridi said on Saturday he was disappointed by the criticism of his leadership of the cricket of Pakistan Board (PCB) Chairman Ijaz Butt, who accused him of causing the loss of the team for matches against West Indies in May:

"There is a campaign against me and I can say many things against the defendants, my country, but advised not to say anything. I keep my rights, and will speak if not stopped," said Afridi.
Afridi said that the team has shown a national unity under his leadership in the wake of spot-fixing scandal in England in the last year.
"He praised the unity of the team by coach and Director (Intikhab Alam) in a number of occasions during the World Cup, and it was only because we were able to win over Australia in a World Cup match after 12 years," he said.
He confirmed that it will be Afridi plays in the league cricket in Australia later this year.
