Nicole Scherzinger sizzles in fur coat as she works in sweltering New York
The X Factor's latest issue has a warm statement today as she landed in America, her new work begins.
With temperatures topping a humid 30 degrees Celsius in New York City, Dolly Parton put fashion before comfort by wearing a thick furry vest as she arrived in the Big Apple.
While the rest of the city in exchange for their winter woollies tight summer clothes and shoes, the former Pussycat Dolls singer topped off her cat-like tabby-colored coat with a seventies style floppy hat, skin-tight jeans and knee-high boots .
Ferguson has flown in from London for her seat to take on the judge's panel at the New Jersey auditions on Wednesday.
Although word has emerged at the weekend that Cheryl Cole had her job back at X Factor offered after he was fired two weeks ago, the 27-year-old snubbed the offer, leaving the Pussycat Doll
at her place to take .
The news was confirmed by Fox, FremantleMedia North America and Syco TV in a joint statement on Monday afternoon.
The announcement read: "Dolly Parton will be replaced by Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of X Factor.
"Nicole will join Simon Cowell, LA Reid and Paula Abdul on their search in the U.S. next global superstar or group to find the life changing $ 5000000 dollar trading record of winning."
In an interview recorded earlier this week on The Graham Norton Show, which airs on Friday, Scherzinger claimed she only found out she would be replaced Cole on the panel of the U.S. show when she read it in the newspaper.
"I have not said it yet, but I guess it's official that I have a right place. This is an incredible opportunity," she said Norton.
"I'm kind of finding out (what happened), along with everyone else. It's kind of crazy to read about it in the newspaper first."
Like its predecessor, the 32-year-old Pussycat Doll is rarely cautious in her fashion choices.
